One of the ingredients to this painting is collective tension I picked up from multiple rounds of eye contact with everyone in the audience. Tension in shoulders, backs, preassure in heads - so much on our minds, on our hearts, in our muscles and tissues. Everything I picked up on, I redirected into the painting in search of a relief (or I cried it out the next day alone in a park).
